MDF used is CARB phase 2 (California Air Resource Board) compliant i.e. emits less that 0.11 parts per million of formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is a known carcinogen, causes allergies and bronchial trouble in the short term and affects the nervous system in the long term causing most countries to control formaldehyde emissions from frequent use or child use products.
Paints are low VOC (Volatile organic compounds), lead free, child friendly and compliant with international emission standards
All our materials are obtained from renewable resources and have FSC (Forrest Stewardship Council) and/ or PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forrest Certificate) certifications
